Biography
Selina took care of her mother; leading her from one shelter to the next for much of her childhood. One day, her mother disappeared. Before she left she told Selina she was going to get "help". Selina waited at the shelter as long as she could but her mother never came back.
The young girl quickly grew accustomed to living alone on the streets of Gotham. She managed to scrape by with the money she earned from petty thievery. Selina made a habit of lying to the cops and the other street kids about where her mother was. Sometimes she was at an big audition and sometimes she'd been kidnapped by gangsters but she was always coming back.
Selina's ambitions grew up with her and soon she was renowned as a notorious burglar with cat-like reflexes.
